Daniel Enterprises was founded in 1989 by Armand Daniel after ten years of working in sales for Cannon Mills and twelve years of directing product development, sales, and marketing at Charles Craft, Inc. Armand felt that vertical manufacturers were very limited in what they could bring to the marketplace since they had to sell only what they were able to manufacture. Many great ideas could not be implemented because of volume and equipment limitations. Crafter's Pride was established to bring together many small, talented cross stitch companies with unique ideas, but limited marketing ability. Under the Crafter's Pride "umbrella," we were able to bring these ideas to market and the business has flourished ever since. We have been successful in meshing products from major mills like Fieldcrest-Cannon and smaller companies including Carolina Cross Stitch, Charter Publishing, Needlework Junction, and others, and have formed a company driven by new ideas - with no manufacturing limitations! When we develop an idea for a product, we have many choices as to the best methods of production. We are able to direct the product to the best supplier to ensure the lowest cost and highest quality. Virtually every new and unique pre-finished cross stitch product introduced in the last 22 years was developed by Armand, the employees of Crafter's Pride, and our affiliated companies. We have many imitators in the marketplace and we are continuously flattered by the attention. Our main objective is to continue what we do best and stay ahead of our competition. We combine the talents of manufacturers who produce the best Aida fabrics, towels, lace, hats, and acrylic products with exceptional sewing, printing and embroidery experts to produce cross stitch accessories we are proud to offer.
